What the policy signal means
AI music is not blanket-banned on YouTube. The practical risk is repetitive or mass-produced ‘inauthentic content,’ plus copyright, reused-content and disclosure issues. A channel of near-identical visualizers is harder to defend than one where each release has human commentary, purposeful visuals and an editorial point.

Design for a reviewer
Could a reviewer quickly explain what you created, transformed or taught? Make that human contribution visible on-screen and in the description.
A defensible video format
Combine the track with a genuine editorial layer: production breakdown, lyric story, performance, licensed visual narrative, tutorial, or comparison. Disclosure does not replace originality, and originality does not replace rights.
- Write a unique first 30 seconds for every upload.
- Show lyric drafts, arrangement changes, recorded parts or mix revisions.
- Use licensed or original artwork and footage; retain receipts.
- Complete altered/synthetic content disclosures when applicable.
- Avoid misleading artist names, voice imitation and metadata stuffing.
Revenue stack and measurement
Ads are only one potential layer. Fan funding, memberships, products and commissions may fit an audience, subject to eligibility. Never forecast with a universal views-to-dollars rate.
